May ~ June 2009 NEWSLETTER

First I'd like to welcome back all the snowbirds that leave us for the winter. It's one way of letting us know summer is just around the corner.

Our Easter Egg Hunt went very well. We had around 300 kids show up and enjoy the beautiful weather that day. Our Easter bunny did a very good job. I hope all our older kids found all the bottles of goodies they could handle.

We had our annual elections at our April meeting. The results were as follows:

As for what we have planned for the next 2 months make sure you check the calendars attached and try to help out or take part in whatever you can. We can always use the help and appreciate all the support we can get from our members.

We had our $5000 Raffle on June 6th. We'd like to put out a big Thank you to everyone who bought a $5000.00 Ticket! Here are three of the final four at the $5000.00 raffle - Ron McCanham, Ron & Barb Newman, and Sandy Johnson.

The Winners decided to split Main Prize!!!

If nothing else, come on down to the Pines and check out all the changes that have been made. I would like to thank the SAL and AUX for all the improvements they have made, and of course, the Falk brothers for the cabinets that are so beautiful.

Hope to see you all at our next meeting on May 17!

At our meeting on April 20th, we had an election of officers. Results were as follows:

A.L.R. NEWS

Our next regular meeting will be on May 7th at 6:30 p.m. All Riders are urged to attend and guests are welcome. May 25th we will meet at the main Hall at 10:30 a.m. for the Memorial Day Parade. If weather is bad come to march; it it's nice bring out the bikes. Don't forget a dish to pass for the following lunch.

With a busy summer schedule ahead, we are going to discuss a Spring camp out at our next meeting. Marysville Post 449 ALR will be having on May 30th a Ride For Life Poker Run, a flyer is at our Post. Many of our area ALR Posts are having summer activities so check the bulleting board at the Club. We will be further planning our Patriots Run & Pig Roast on June 20th and the ALR Annual Picnic in August.

Our June meeting will be on the 4th at 6:30 p.m. We will be planning our trip to the ALR Romp in WIllard, Ohio. Remember, ALR dues were due on January 1st so if you haven't paid get them in so you won't get dropped. Anyone interested in joining the ALR or being a Supporting Member come to one of our meetings and join the Fun!
REMEMBER TO SUPPORT THE POST FUNCTIONS. WITHOUT THEM NO US !
