Hi Fellow Legionaires, AUX, SAL, and ALR members,

Well another year has come and gone like they always do. Hopefully the hoidays has found everyone safe and healthy. As I wrote in the last newsletter if you know of a member who is sick or has passed on to the greater beyond, please call me at the club bar at 378-5818 and let me know.

Our mailings of the newsletter are becoming quite costly. At the last meeting some options were suggested. Please let me know if you can pick up your newsletter at the Pines, quite a few members already do this. We also have our letter on our Website on the computer at www.pecklegion489.org. If these are not an option for you we will have to mail the letters first class. So if one of the first two is good for you please let me know as soon as possible so we can start saving some more money.

Some old business was brought up by my old adjutant that we have over 40 members who haven't paid their 2009 dues, some are about to become delinquent 2 years or more. After the 31st of December you will become delinquent for upcoming 2009 events. We are trying to get to 100% so please pay your dues.

For new business, the floor at the west wall in the main hall is separating, it was moved and supported to put $1500 in a CD at the Tri County Bank to draw interest so this problem can be repaired.

Sick Call: Clint Cahoon had hip surgery and is in Medilodge in Yale for Rehab. Hope everything is working for you, Clint. If there are any members that can help with funeral details, please call Ron McCanham at 378-5849.

S.A.L. meetings are January 4th and February 1st.

Auxiliary meetings are January 19th and February 16th.

A reminder that ALR dues are due by the first of January, still $12.00 a rider.

We will be having a euchre party on January 10th at the Pines. Sign up will start at 3:00 p.m. and we will start play at 4 p.m. Also on our calendar is a tattoo party on the 14th of February with more details to follow but mark your calendar.
